About Us

Built in 1998, City National Grove of Anaheim originally opened as Tinseltown Studios, an awards show themed venue. In 1999, the facility was converted into a concert venue and renamed as The Sun Theatre, before changing its name to The Grove of Anaheim. In 2002, the City of Anaheim purchased the venue and selected Nederlander Concerts to be the exclusive manager, operator and programmer of the Southern California gem. On January 24, 2011, the venue’s name was updated to City National Grove of Anaheim, following a naming rights agreement with City National Bank.
