Ribbon Cutting - Community Garden at Manzanita Park by the Boys and Girls Club of Anaheim

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Anaheim are days away from unveiling a new community garden at Manzanita Park. The project which had been in the works for a few years was made a reality thanks to support and approval from the City of Anaheim. The garden was brought to life with the help from great Club partners L.T. Global and Lowe’s Home Improvement of Anaheim. L.T. Global helped find, recommend, and select a contractor who would build and amend the soil for the garden. Meanwhile, Lowe’s HEROES worked to put finishing touches on the garden. Once complete, the garden will include above ground planters, a drip system, picnic benches, a shed, and seating around the sycamore tree. In addition, Lowe’s HEROES will work with Club members to plant seedlings and paint a mural.
